“Star Wars: Episode IX” released its much anticipated trailer, which reveals new images of the last episode of the Skywalker saga. The video, available on YouTube, came as part of Chicago’s Star Wars Celebration.

The phrase that stands out in the trailer available on YouTube is “Every Generation Has a Legend. The images show King (Daisy Ridley) facing a tie fighter approaching him dangerously in the desert.

We also see new images of Finn (John Boyega) and Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac), who have their own battle. The mysterious Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) could not be missing either.

This installment shows the new threat of the Ren Knights, who return from unknown regions with the mission to eliminate the First Order and Kylo Ren, the last of the Skywalkers and one of their former members.

“Star Wars: Episode IX” will feature Daisy Ridley as King, John Boyega as Finn, Adam Driver as Kylo Ren, Oscar Isaac as Poe Dameron, Anthony Daniels as C-3P0 and Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker, as well as Domhall Gleeson as General Hux and Kelly Marie Tran as Rose.

In the previous installment of the Luke saga (Mark Hamill) lost his life after using all his power to stop the destructive intentions of Kylo Ren (Adam Driver). Thus, as King (Daisy Ridley) becomes the last jedi, the Force has begun to awaken in other people…

The Star Wars Celebration in Chicago was attended by J.J. Abrams, director of the film, and Kathleen Kennedy, president of Lucasfilm. Both were presented by comedian Stephen Colbert.

Moments before releasing the video, Abrams and Kennedy said that this will be the final chapter of the Skywalker saga and will include unpublished scenes that Carrie Fisher filmed for Episode VIII.

“Star Wars: Episode IX” will reach all national cinemas on December 20, 2019.
