Sony’s new TVs are about to go on sale. We have known the prices that most models will have in the United States. And at the top of the range this year we have the new Sony Z9G, a huge TV with 8K resolution. Sony Z9G, The 8K TV Up To 98 Inches From Sony.

And we say huge because it will be available in two diagonals: 85 and 98 inches. Inside you will find the X1 Ultimate processor, capable of scaling all content to 8K resolution.

The Sony Z9G is a TV with LED technology and Backlight Master Drive (Full Array) lighting system. It is equipped with the best technology of the Japanese manufacturer to get a great image quality.

It has 8K X-Reality PRO technology, capable of scaling to 8K in real time all kinds of images. It also features 8K X-tended Dynamic Range, a technology that achieves up to 20 times more contrast than a conventional LED TV. And don’t forget the HDR, as the Z9G is compatible with HDR10, HLG and Dolby Vision.

It is equipped with X-Wide Angle, a technology that improves viewing angles. And with X-Motion Clarity, which keeps fast-moving images under control. Even during high-speed scenes, images remain faithful without loss of brightness.

To accompany a great image quality, Sony has implemented the Acoustic Multi-Audio system. It consists of 4 tweeters, 8 woofers and 4 subwoofers for 80W power. It is also compatible with Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby AC-4 and DTS Digital Surround.

Luckily, we will have many more models available this year. As for OLED TVs, the A9G becomes the top of the range for 2019. It belongs to the manufacturer’s Master Series and is equipped with the same X1 Ultimate processor, which includes the 8K model.

It is compatible with Dolby Vision, has Acoustic Surface Audio+ technology, has a TRILUMINOS screen and all the advantages of OLED panels. In addition, as is logical, has the operating system Android TV.

The Sony A9G will hit the market between May and June and will be available in the following sizes:

  • 55 inches with a price of 3.500 dollars
  • 65 inches with a price of 4,500 dollars
  • 77 inches with a price of 8,000 dollars

A step below will be the Sony A8G, an OLED model with X1 Extreme processor. Beyond the change of processor, we have the Acoustic Surface Audio system, but also in a somewhat lower version. Still, it is a TV with Dolby Vision, TRILUMINOS screen and IMAX Enhanced certification.

The Sony A8G will go on sale in May with two confirmed diagonals:

If you prefer LED technology but can’t reach the Sony Z9G, don’t worry because Sony’s TV range for 2019 is quite wide.

The Sony X950G is the top of the range of LED models with 4K resolution and Direct LED lighting system. It is equipped with the X1 Ultimate processor and X-tended Dynamic Range PRO, X-Wide Angle and X-Motion Clarity technologies. It is IMAX Enhanced certified and compatible with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos.

On the other hand, it is equipped with Acoustic Multi-Audio, has a special video mode for Netflix and has Android TV operating system. The Sony X950G will be available in:

  • 55 inches with a price of 1,400 dollars
  • 65 inches with a price of 2,200 dollars
  • 75 inches with a price of 3,500 dollars
  • 85 inches with a price of 5,000 dollars

If we go down a step we find the Sony X850G, an LED TV with 4K resolution and Edge LED lighting system. It has the X1 processor, Acoustic Multi-Audio sound and TRILUMINOS panel.

Like its older brothers, it has the Android TV operating system with Google Assistant integrated. It will be available in:

  • 55 inches with a price of 1,100 dollars
  • 65 inches with a price of 1,400 dollars
  • 75 inches with a price of 2,200 dollars
  • 85 inches with a price of 3,500 dollars

Sony X800G

Finally we have the Sony X800G, 4K televisions with X-Reality PRO processor. They are the simplest models, but still have TRILUMINOS screen, ClearAudio+ sound system and Android TV operating system with integrated Google Assistant.

We can find a Sony X800G in almost any size we need. It will be available on the following diagonals:

  • 43 inches at a price of $650
  • 49 inches with a price of 750 dollars
  • 55 inches with a price of 900 dollars
  • 65 inches with a price of 1,200 dollars
  • 75 inches with a price of 2,000 dollars

Although it is a cheaper option than the Sony X850G, it should be noted that it is an entry-level model. For now we will have to wait to know the price of televisions in Europe.
