iPhone 11, Pro and Pro Max

Apple’s new smartphones for 2019 are now a reality. We’ll tell you all the details about iPhone 11, Pro and Pro Max.

Almost 2 years ago, Apple followed the numbering of its devices and, instead of seeing the iPhone 7S, we saw a new model, the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus.

iPhone 11 Presentation Summary
iPhone 11, Pro and Pro Max

Although the real surprise came with the announcement of the iPhone X. A smartphone with which Apple came to make clear a change in policy. And a renewal in the line of Apple terminals.

And yes, it was, because since its premiere the iPhone X has not only sold well and accepted prevailing design elements today as the concept ‘All Screen’, but also became the most copied smartphone on the market.

From its characteristic front tab that monopolized the design to the elimination of the fingerprint reader and the inclusion of Face ID. The rest of the brands have tried to get closer to the jewel in Apple’s crown. But as we all know, the reign of mobile phones has the same validity as the reign of a Miss: 12 months.

In 2018, Apple kept the design it had liked so much on the iPhone XS, XS Max and XR. And today, in 2019 and after a year of many rumors, have decided to break again with what they had settled … At least partially.

iPhone 11, the ‘low-cost’ iPhone

“A new dual camera system covering a wider field of vision. The fastest chip a smartphone has ever had. A battery that lasts all day, so you can do more and charge less.

And the highest quality video on a smartphone. That’s how Apple introduces its new smartphone and the cheapest entry of all.

Design: equal on one side, renewed on the other

Apple renews itself: three new iPhone 11
iPhone 11.

First of all, the obvious. Betting another year on it, Apple has decided to keep the Notch. A touch for the third time since the iPhone X premiere.

At the front level the iPhone 11 is similar to its predecessors of 2018. But, not at the rear level, since here we have that big change that has given so much to talk about throughout the year: the famous new camera.

Confirming the new layout. The iPhone 11 camera has a Dual square design with rounded corners. Placed in the same place as always, in the left rear of the terminal.

Equipped with a 6.1 inch Retina Display LCD 828 x 1792 pixels and 19.5:9 ratio. This brings True Tune technology that adjusts the white balance to the color temperature of the surrounding light.

And as rumored, the 3D Touch does not appear either and instead Apple has integrated the Haptic Response, so that we dominate the mobile with its shortcuts and intuitive context menus.

The glass on the front and back has been reinforced by a double ion exchange process. The iPhone 11 can boast IP68 certification, being waterproof up to 2 meters deep for up to 30 minutes, “twice as deep as the iPhone XR”.

At the audio level, iPhone 11 incorporates ‘Spatial Audio’. A technology that simulates surround sound so that the experience sounds with greater intensity, as well as Dolby Atmos, so that the sound circulates around you in a 3D space.

Privacy Policy

According to Apple, “the most secure facial authentication on a smartphone. Face ID lets you unlock your phone in the blink of an eye, and it’s even safer than Touch ID. Allowing you to log in to apps, pay with Apple Pay, and access your accounts at a glance.

Best of all, all iPhone features are designed to protect your personal information. Face ID never saves or shares a photo of you. When you send an iMessage or call FaceTime, your data is fully encrypted; and Maps shows you the way without telling anyone where you’ve been.

Other Features

  • Fast Charge. Charge the battery to 50 % of its capacity in just 30 minutes with an 18 W charger
  • WiFi 6. 6th generation wifi networks (802.11ax) allow you to download content up to 38% faster.
  • LTE Gigabit Class. Up to 30 LTE bands for more roaming around the world
  • Shared Audio. You can link up to two pairs of AirPods or Beats headphones to your mobile.
  • Dual SIM with eSIM. allowing you to use one phone number for work and another for personal calls

Camera

A Dual wide-angle system

iPhone 11, Pro and Pro Max
iPhone 11.

Since the iPhone 11 is the new XR, another part that is clearly an evolution is its main camera, which goes from having a sensor to being Dual.

Thanks to the new ultra wide-angle camera, the interface shows you what’s outside the frame and even allows you to photograph it. And recording and editing videos is just as easy as photos.

  • 12 megapixel wide-angle lens. Because all of its pixels are Focus Pixels, the new wide-angle sensor focuses up to three times faster in low-light environments.
  • 12 megapixel Ultra Wide Angular Lens. This camera reaches a four times wider field of view, making it perfect for group photos, landscapes, large spaces or scenes with moving subjects.

Equipped with a new Night mode, taking photos in low light is no longer taking blind photos.

The new Night mode automatically activates so that you get good images in poorly lit environments, allowing you to achieve photos with more natural colors and more brightness in the image without pulling the flash.

Portrait mode uses two lenses to create new types of portraits: The Mono High Key Light effect of iOS 13 transforms your portraits into elegant black and white photographs worthy of a professional.

And Portrait Illumination Control lets you adjust the lighting of the protagonists to give them the exact touch you want.

HDR, Quicktake and Selfie Slofie

Get to know the new Iphone 11
iPhone 11, iPhone Pro and iPhone Pro Max.

Thanks to automatic learning, the Intelligent HDR is able to detect if there are people and processes them differently from the rest of the image.

It highlights the lighter areas of faces, adds detail to shadows and gives a natural look to skin tones. As for video, iPhone 11 lets you record 4K videos at 60 f/s crystal clear with any of its cameras.

The ultra-wide angle captures a four times wider field of view and is perfect for scenes with moving subjects, like a dog grabbing a bone on the fly.

If, for example, you’re recording a recital, when you zoom in you can enlarge not only the image, but also the sound. And one more joy: editing videos becomes the same as editing photos.

If you’re taking a picture but think twice about it and decide to make a video, all you have to do is hold your finger on the shutter release button.

When you get tired of clicking, scroll to the right to keep recording and you’re done. If you’re outdoors and you see a squirrel, for example, the A13 Bionic can make use of automatic learning to follow it in motion automatically. This is called QuickTake, and it is to ease the transition in the use of the camera.

Another novelty is the Selfie Slofie, a kind of self-portrait animated in super slow-mo camera at 120 frames, or at normal speed in 4K and 60fps.

Thanks to the new 12 Mpx TrueDepth Frontal camera you can cover more in your selfies. Put the iPhone horizontally and zoom automatically to enlarge the frame

U1 Chip

iPhone 11 unveils ultra-wideband technology. Apple’s new U1 chip uses this technology for spatial detection, allowing the terminal to precisely locate other Apple devices that also have U1 chips.

It’s like a GPS, but in your living room. So when you need to share a file with AirDrop, just point it at one person and the iPhone will know exactly who you want to send it to.

A13 Bionic

The NEW iPhone 11 and 11 PRO
iPhone 11, Pro and Pro Max.

With iPhone 11 being the equivalent of last year’s iPhone XR, although Apple considers its A12 processor “so powerful that it will remain competitive for the next two years,” and that it could perfectly be mounted on the 2019 models of its phone, Cupertino prefer to win by a landslide to the competition: Apple describes its A13 Bionic as “the most powerful processor and GPU seen on a smartphone”, surpassing the models of the Android competition – in fact the event itself has seen a comparative chart with models like a Samsung.

Price

Confirming that it will have WiFi 6, the iPhone 11 battery “will be 1 hour longer than the iPhone XR”. And of course its price is a symbol of its intentions to be the ‘low-cost’ iPhone: that is, at a more permissive price than the Premium models but mounting practically the same technology as the Bionic A13 chipset.

The prices of the device have already been revealed on Apple’s official website and are as follows according to the capacity you choose:

  • iPhone 11 64 GB: 809 euros
  • iPhone 11 128 GB: 859 euros
  • iPhone 11 256 GB: 979 euros

iPhone 11 Pro

According to Apple, “a revolutionary triple chamber system that multiplies the possibilities in the simplest way. An unprecedented leap in autonomy.

A chip that doubles the bet on automatic learning and redefines what is possible for a mobile.

There have been other iPhone, but only this one has earned the right to call itself Pro”. Let’s take a look at Apple’s Premium models, the 11 Pro and the 11 Pro Max.

Steel and Glass

Apple iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max
iPhone.

As the premium brother of iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro features a 5.8-inch OLED Super Retina XDR Super Retina screen with 2436 x 1125px resolution and 458 dpi density.

Smaller than the 11, the screen has two new brightness levels: It lights up to 800 nits when you’re in the sun (ideal for taking photos and choosing the best away from home) and up to 1,200 nits when you see photos in HDR and videos in HDR10.

The panel also incorporates True Tone and Haptic Response technologies, plus Night Shift – the screen changes to warmer colours at night.

With the mobile built with steel and glass with precision milling from a single sheet of glass and double ion exchange for greater strength, the best thing is that the panel is up to 15% more efficient and therefore consumes less battery.

In the upper notch it houses the same 12Mpx front camera with TrueDepth sensor that allows to use the latest version of FaceID -a 30% faster-, improved for face recognition and for functions like the new animojis of iOS 13.

And as iPhone 11 has IP68 certification, although it holds more: up to 4 meters deep and 30 minutes submerged.

The new heart: Bionic A13 Chip

Featuring a 64-bit fusion architecture, the Bionic A13 processor has a CPU that incorporates two performance cores that go up to 20% faster and consume up to 40% less battery power.

And four efficiency cores that go up to 20 percent faster and consume up to 25 percent less. Apple-designed GPUs are up to 25 percent faster and consume up to 30 percent less battery power.

Ideal for high-performance gaming and the latest augmented reality experiences.

And for today’s processes like wizards, IA. or automatic learning, the Apple-designed 8-core Neural Engine is up to 20% faster and consumes up to 15% less battery.

It’s the engine that powers the triple camera system, Face ID, augmented reality apps, and more.

The CPU integrates two new automatic learning accelerators that run matrix calculations up to 6 times faster and allow more than one billion operations per second.

Finally, Core ML 3 uses the automatic learning controller to distribute tasks between the CPU, GPU, and Neural Engine.

In this way, developers can also take advantage of the automatic learning of the Bionic A13 chip.
