Even though everything is perfect: you had a decent meal, the weather is nice and everybody else is focusing hard on their work except you.

When it’s becoming harder and harder to stay focused, you’re probably suffering from the low-productivity disease.

It’s technically not a disease, but your low productivity can get noticed by your employer, your boss and everyone around you.

Here are a couple of tips and tactics, which can allow you to be more productive and prevail as a hard-working employee at work or even school!

Step 1: Refreshen your mind

Productivity depends on how much your mind can deliver. If your mind feels stressed and you don’t have the foggiest idea of what’s going around, you’re going to need to refreshen it! It doesn’t take much.

If you feel like the situation is a little too hard to handle, get up from your workplace and take a walk.

You can visit the cafeteria, grab a cup of coffee and start working afresh or simply sit in an open space nearby and relax.

Sometimes, all our brain needs is a teeny tiny bit of clarity.

Step 2: Never Work while you’re hungry

If you’re on a strict diet that only allows you to have a handful of nothing during the entire day, then it’s time to give it up.

Include nuts and fruits in your diet. They’re low in calories, all-natural and promote your well-being.

Your brain tends to be slower when you’re hungry since it was fuel to work and food works as that fuel.

Grab a fruit or a few snacks, avoid things that make you fall asleep.

Over-the-top oily foods, junk food, and sweets are a bad idea.

Step 3: Consider having a Strategy

Imagine how much easier it would be to have a plan. A strategy allows you to efficiently start accomplishing your goals.

The best way to do this would be to divide your work schedule into tinier parts.

If you take large breaks between work or if you try to do multiple tasks at once, stop immediately.

Understand how much time it would take for you to complete a task and work towards finishing your job earlier.

Also, keep deadlines for yourself which would allow you to work faster.

Step 4: Work Before Your Lunch Break

Having meals tends to slow you down. After having lunch, your body tends to work towards digesting that food and it slows down your brain.

In turn, you’d become a lot less productive.

Ensure that you only consume things that promote your brain to work faster and not do the opposite of that.

Step 5: Try not to Multitask

While multitasking, you tend to lose focus and work on many things simultaneously and this way, nothing gets completed on time and everything turns into mush.

Work on smaller tasks first and then work towards those which have a harder difficulty level.
