There are even dumplings which are made with rice. This type of dumpling will not have the normal rice, but the glutinous rice. The size and shape vary and ranging from cone-shaped to triangle shaped ones. The fillings in it will also vary and the meat used in it can be changed from one region to another. The dumpling made out of glutinous rice is particularly made during the festival times and it is an auspicious dish in China. The wrapping of this dumpling will be made differently in the Southern and in the Northern regions.
